【ポイント】
◆局所進行非小細胞肺がん（T3-T4またはN2）ⅢA期においては，手術療法単独での治療成績は不良であり，集学的治療が必要となる．
◆なかでも縦隔リンパ節転移の有無は，手術適応の決定など治療戦略に大きく影響を及ぼすため，正確な病期診断が求められる．
◆画像診断だけでリンパ節転移の有無を正確に判断することには限界があり，可能な限り組織学的な検索を行うべきである．
