【ポイント】
◆食道癌の臨床研究において，手術療法を対象とした大規模RCTはほとんど行われていない．
◆補助療法の有用性を示すRCTは数多く報告されているが，本邦における最適な補助療法は模索されている．
◆新たな治療法を開発するとともに，その治療効果の検証をすることが極めて重要である．
