【ポイント】
◆Stage Ⅲまでの胃癌に対しては，侵襲を軽減しつつ良好な予後を維持する方向で術式の研究が進められている．
◆Stage Ⅳでも手術を含む集学的治療が治癒に繋がる場合があり，その内容と適応の評価が進められている．
◆治癒の可能性が高い対象には，術後QOLの向上を目指した研究が必要であるが，その評価の指標が整備されてきた．
