【ポイント】
◆術後せん妄は，手術の侵襲により生じる意識障害であり，認知機能障害や多彩な精神症状を伴う．
◆せん妄の原因は準備因子，誘発因子，直接因子の3つに分けて考えることができ，術後せん妄の予防はこれらの因子への働きかけである．
◆十分な術前評価を行い，予防，早期発見，治療のための積極的な対策が重要である．
