【ポイント】
◆NCDのビッグデータは本邦における日常診療のreal worldを表したものであり，NCDデータベース事業の研究課題として，腹腔鏡下胃切除術の短期成績に関する前向きおよび後ろ向きの臨床研究が行われた．
◆腹腔鏡下胃全摘術および幽門側胃切除術は開腹手術と比較し，それぞれ安全に施行されており妥当な術式と考えられたが，腹腔鏡下幽門側胃切除術においてグレードB以上の膵液漏が有意に多かったことは注視すべき結果であった．
◆RCTによる内的妥当性の検討結果と，NCDのビッグデータを利用した臨床研究による外的妥当性の検討結果とを補完的に解釈し，今後ガイドラインに反映させていくことが期待される．
