【ポイント】
◆食道胃接合部癌の術式やリンパ節郭清範囲は施設，術者により一定していない．
◆国内多施設後ろ向き研究により，腫瘍径4 cmまでの食道胃接合部癌に対するリンパ節郭清アルゴリズムが策定された．
◆国内初の多施設前向き研究が施行され，食道胃接合部癌に対する至適リンパ節郭清領域を決めるエビデンスとなることが期待される．
