【ポイント】
◆迷走神経腹腔枝温存は，胆石発生の予防，下痢の減少，体重減少の早期回復，QOLの向上に貢献するという報告がある．
◆迷走神経は近年，炎症や腸内細菌，インスリン抵抗性など様々な生体調節機能の経路となることが示されている．
◆議論の余地は大きいが，術後QOLを重視する縮小手術においては，症例によっては迷走神経温存も選択肢の一つになりうる．
