【ポイント】
◆がん治療，特に化学療法の進歩によって生存率が向上し，全国に治療中の患者数は150万人以上いる．
◆漢方薬をがん治療における支持療法に用いることは国策として推奨されているが，その普及は道半ばである．
◆漢方薬は薬物動態をはじめ多くの知見が集積されつつあり，化学療法完遂のために安全かつ有効な投与タイミングが明らかとなってきた．
