【ポイント】
◆術後の機能障害が起こる機序は，直腸肛門部に対する直接的な損傷や神経障害などによるとされるが，すべてが明らかとなっているわけではない．
◆術後障害を完全に回避することは困難であるが，いくつかの手段により一定の効果は期待できる．
◆一旦発現した術後排便障害に対しては，保存的治療と積極的な外科的治療がある．
