◆超高齢社会を迎え,一次性サルコペニアと二次性サルコペニアを伴う外科手術患者が増加している.
◆消化器癌患者においては,術前サルコペニアは予後不良因子であるため,暦年齢より肉体年齢が重要である.
◆術前体組成・栄養評価に基づく周術期リハビリテーション・栄養介入により,外科手術成績向上が期待される.
