【ポイント】
◆幽門狭窄を有する切除不能進行胃癌に対する緩和手術は，経口摂取を改善することで化学療法の導入を促進し，QOLを改善させる可能性がある．
◆QOLが改善した症例では，生存期間が延長する可能性がある．
◆緩和的外科治療は適切な症例を選択し，安全・確実な手技と周術期管理に努めることが重要である．
