【ポイント】
◆悪性胆道閉塞に対しての胆道ドレナージは，緩和医療を必要とする時期の患者においてもQOLの改善を期待できる．
◆超音波内視鏡下ドレナージの発展・普及により，低侵襲な胆道ドレナージ術を選択することが可能となった．
◆緩和医療を必要とする患者の全身状態と胆道閉塞のパターンは様々であり，それぞれの患者に最適なドレナージ方法を選択することが求められる．
