【ポイント】
◆欧米では下部進行直腸癌の術前CRT後のcCR症例に対して,watch & waitが広まりつつある.
◆Watch & waitは密なサーベイランスとサルベージ手術までを含めたdelayed surgeryの治療戦略である.
◆Total neoadjuvant therapyによりwatch & waitの成績も向上が期待される.
