【ポイント】
◆放射線治療は食道胃接合部癌に対する集学的治療の選択肢の1つである．
◆術前化学放射線療法を加えることで，食道胃接合部癌では治療成績向上が得られることがわかってきている．
◆術前化学放射線療法を加えることで，手術合併症は手術単独に比較して有意に増強しない．
◆強度変調放射線治療（IMRT）などの高精度照射技術導入も今後の課題である．
