【ポイント】
◆Lumen apposing metal stent（LAMS）は，両端に大きなフランジを有し，二つの管腔を引き寄せて瘻孔を形成するための大口径のカバード金属ステントである．
◆胃排出路障害（GOO）に対するLAMSを用いた超音波内視鏡下胃空腸吻合術は，患者のQuality of lifeの向上や，その後の治療継続を可能にすることでの予後の改善も期待される．しかし，本邦においては未承認治療であることに留意しておく．
