【ポイント】
◆胃切除後は血糖変動が大きく，低血糖の頻度が高い．そして症状を訴えない夜間低血糖の患者が存在する．
◆術後12か月が経過しても低血糖の頻度はさほど改善しておらず，血糖変動はむしろ増悪していた．
◆BillrothⅠ法とRoux-en-Y法再建の比較では，Roux-en-Y法のほうが血糖変動は大きく，低血糖の頻度は多いが，術後約12か月で同等となる．
