はじめに

　FGR（fetal growth restriction）の小児期の予後としては，生後の身体発育と精神運動発達が問題となる．身体発育に関しては，子宮内での発育が制限されていた場合には，出生後の「catch─up growth」がどの程度認められるか，特に身長発育が課題となる．一方，精神運動発達では，子宮内の脳発育抑制状態が長期予後に影響するかどうかが問題となる．
