はじめに

　月経困難症は「月経期間中に月経に随伴して起きる病的症状」と定義されており，下腹部痛，腰痛がその中心をなすが，嘔気，嘔吐，頭痛，下痢，疲労感，脱力感などとして現れる場合もある．機能性月経困難症は，子宮に器質的な異常が認められないにもかかわらず痛みが出現するもので，若年女性の約50％にみられる^1）．
