閉塞性尿路疾患

はじめに

　胎児超音波検査の進歩と普及は，胎児期の閉塞性尿路疾患の診断に寄与しただけでなく，その出生後の経過観察の結果より，小児期の腎不全の成因の1つとして同疾患をクローズアップすることとなった．閉塞性尿路疾患に対する胎児期の介入が，生存率を向上させるだけでなく，出生後の透析の導入や腎移植適応症例を減ずることになれば，その意義はきわめて深い．閉塞性尿路疾患に対する胎内治療が報告されて以来20年以上が経過した現在，改めて同疾患に対する胎児期の介入やその方法について再考する時期に差しかかってきていると思われる．
