はじめに

　本邦における生殖補助医療の成績においては，ここ数年わずかながら妊娠率の向上が認められる．これには胚培養液などの機材の改良や凍結胚移植法の普及などいくつもの要因が寄与していると思われるが，各施設での胚移植技術の向上もその1つとして見逃せない．胚移植は治療の成績を左右する重要なステップであり，担当医師の責任は重い．本稿では胚移植のタイミングと方法について解説する．
