加齢に伴う男性生殖機能の影響

はじめに

　男性生殖機能は極言すれば高齢になっても亡くなるまで妊孕能を有しているといえる．しかしながら，加齢に伴う生殖器の特徴的な変化としては精巣サイズが小さくなり，硬度・緊満度が低下してくるということがある．男性生殖機能の加齢に伴う影響を論ずるときには加齢による視床下部・下垂体・性腺系への影響を検証しなければならない．そこで本稿では，加齢に伴う内分泌変化，精子数の変化，精巣組織の形態上の変化について解説する．
