5. 乳癌治療の最新情報

1　はじめに

　本稿は近年著しい進歩を遂げた乳癌診療の実際について，新しい話題に最新のデータ（evidence）を取り入れて記述するように心掛けた．乳癌は，従来，日本には比較的少ないがんであったが，近年の乳癌の増加は微増というより激増といってよいものである．近年，「日本乳癌学会」により，「乳癌診療ガイドライン」，また検診に当たる医師のために「マンモグラフィのcategory分類」などの書物も出版され，現時点での標準医療が記載されている．しかし，これらによって医療が硬直化し，その進歩が阻害されることは避けねばならない．本稿では，こうした新たなる蹉跌を乗り越えていこうとする試みが述べられている．
