3. 子宮体癌

はじめに

　子宮体癌は子宮内膜から発生する悪性腫瘍であり，全世界で年間142,000名の女性が罹患し，42,000名が死亡している^1）．特に北アメリカ，ヨーロッパなどの先進国では乳癌，肺癌，大腸癌につぐ女性における癌死因別疾患の第4位となっている^1）．近年，本邦においても子宮体癌は著しい増加傾向にあり，1999年の日本産科婦人科学会報告では治療患者数において体癌2,652名であるのに対して頸癌3,835名であり，子宮癌の41％を占めるに至った．今後も罹患数は激増することが予想されており，2015年の推定罹患数は6,623名である^2）．

　本稿では，子宮体癌の早期診断のポイントとピットフォールにつき概説したい．
