3．悪性腫瘍─特に子宮体癌

はじめに

　多嚢胞性卵巣症候群（polycystic ovary syndrome : PCOS）は，両側卵巣が多数の嚢胞を形成し腫大する形態学的な変化と，排卵障害，エストロン/エストラジオール比高値，LH基礎分泌値上昇，高アンドロゲン血症などの内分泌学的な異常により主に定義される疾患である．PCOSでは，不妊，肥満，多毛などの代表的な症候に加えて，糖尿病，高血圧，遺伝素因などの合併をしばしば伴うことが知られており，これらは女性に発生する悪性腫瘍のいくつかでみられる疫学的特徴とオーバーラップしている．このことから，本疾患と悪性腫瘍との関係について言及した報告がこれまでに数多くなされてきている．本稿では，PCOSと代表的な悪性腫瘍との関連について，特に子宮体癌を中心に概説する．
