はじめに

 超音波ドプラ法の臨床応用に伴い,ヒト胎児においても血管内を流れる血流速度分布を非侵襲的に,かつ実時間的に観察することが可能となっている.本法は現在,臍帯血管のみならず,胎児中大脳動脈,下行大動脈,下大静脈などを対象血管とした胎児諸臓器の血行動態を観察する方法として利用され,子宮内発育遅延(IUGR)胎児における胎盤血管抵抗の上昇,あるいは低酸素状態に対する胎児血行動態の変化や再分配機構を評価する手段として用いられている.本稿では,特に臍帯血流の評価法とその異常について概説する.
