4．初期に診断できる胎児奇形

はじめに

　ヒトが胎芽から胎児へと成長する妊娠初期は各臓器や各器官が発生分化する時期であり，この期間に生じる形態の変化とその大きさの変化は著しい．そのため胎芽・胎児の各部位や各臓器の発生時期を理解したうえで超音波診断を行う必要がある．本稿では，妊娠初期に遭遇する代表的な胎児奇形などについて，自験例を呈示し概説する．
