抗てんかん薬

1． はじめに

　てんかんにおいては，発作そのものを診察できることはきわめて少ないため，問診，脳波，画像検査などによる総合的診断が必要とされる．われわれ産婦人科医がプライマリケアとして，妊婦のてんかんを診断し，抗てんかん薬を処方することは通常の場合にはないと思われる．しかし，てんかんの有病率は0.5～1％と比較的頻度の高い神経疾患である^1）ため，てんかん合併妊婦に遭遇する機会は稀ではない．したがって，てんかんの診断・治療，抗てんかん薬の催奇形性についての知識はわれわれ産婦人科医にとって不可欠といえる．
