直行3断面表示ではボリューム内の直行する3断面を同時に表示し,軸の回転・スライスにより任意断面の表示・計測が可能である.‘a’断面は通常のBモードと同じ断面を,‘b’断面はBモードと直行する断面を,‘c’断面はプローブ表面と平行の断面を表示する(図1).妊娠初期ではCRLの正確な計測や(図1),異所性妊娠の診断(図2)などに有用である.
