4．早産と細菌性腟症

　早産はさまざまな要因によって生じる1つの症候群である．なかでも，絨毛膜羊膜炎は陣痛発来と前期破水に深くかかわることから，絨毛膜羊膜炎の発症を未然に防ぐことが，早産予防にとって重要である．絨毛膜羊膜炎の多くが，細菌性腟症からの感染・炎症が子宮頸管を経て上行性に波及し発症するため，発端となる細菌性腟症に対する適切な対応が，早産予防の鍵になると考えられる．本稿では，早産と細菌性腟症の関係，細菌性腟症を有する妊婦への対応について概説する．
