文献概要

　サイトメガロウイルス（Cytomegalovirus : CMV）の胎内感染は，胎児に重大な神経学的後遺症や聴力障害を引き起こすことが知られている．妊娠中の初感染では，30～40％に胎内感染を起こし，再活性化にても0.1～1％の胎内感染が報告されている．日本では，欧米諸国と比して妊娠可能年齢の女性におけるサイトメガロウイルスの抗体保有率は90～95％と高かったが，近年70％程度に低下していることが報告されており，今後，妊娠中の初感染ならびに先天性サイトメガロウイルス感染症の増加が危惧される．
