5．中枢神経機能の維持

〈認知機能・アルツハイマー病〉

●ERTは閉経後女性の認知機能を改善するが，長期持続投与では効果が認められない．

●エストロゲン＋黄体ホルモンの併用持続投与は認知機能を悪化させる．

●HRTはアルツハイマー病発症のリスクを低下させる可能性があるが，まだ十分なエビデンスが不足している．

〈抑うつ症状・うつ病〉

●HRTは更年期の抑うつ気分またはうつ症状を改善する．

●更年期のうつ病に対するHRTの効果については，まだコンセンサスが得られていない．
