●終末期の便秘症状は，食欲不振，嘔気・嘔吐，腹痛，不穏などの原因になる．

●終末期MBOの患者に対する胃管やイレウス管留置は，輸液の減量とオクトレオチドで回避可能な場合が多い．

●消化管皮膚瘻や腟瘻に対しては，患者の精神的ケアや多職種による集中ケアが必要．
