●卵巣腫瘍の手術においては，術前診断が肝要である．機能性囊胞，悪性所見の有無についてはMRIなどの画像診断による慎重な診断を行うことが望ましい．機能性囊胞の診断には，経腟超音波検査を違った周期で再検する必要がある．

●囊腫切除術は機能温存手術であり，卵巣機能温存のために，剝離面の正確な認識，パワーソースの選択とより侵襲の少ない使用方法を学ぶ必要がある．

●付属器切除術では，卵巣動静脈の走行，尿管の走行を正確に認識することが必要である．

●子宮内膜症性囊胞の機能温存手術は，卵巣機能喪失のリスク，年齢による悪性変化のリスク，挙児希望の有無などを考慮して，手術方法（囊腫切除術or焼灼術）の選択，卵巣以外の内膜症病巣（Douglas窩病巣，子宮腺筋症など）の取り扱い，不妊治療を含めた方針などについて，総合的に検討する必要がある．

●子宮内膜症性囊胞の術後は，術後の再発予防のため，低容量ピル（LEP）やディナゲスト^®の投与などを症例によって検討することが望ましい．
