●癒着胎盤の診断の端緒となる検査は超音波断層法であるが，確定診断しうる単独の所見はない．

●前置胎盤例および子宮手術創部に胎盤が付着している例は，癒着胎盤の精査が必要である．

●複数の超音波所見を用いることやカラードプラ法の併用により，癒着胎盤の診断精度が上昇する．
