●ヒトの子宮内膜には,自己複製能,多分化能,増殖能,および自己組織構築能を有する少数の幹様細胞集団が存在する.

●複数の子宮内膜の幹様細胞がさまざまな方法で同定・分離されているが,それらの細胞特性は必ずしも一致していない.

●内膜幹細胞は,子宮内膜の再生を担うだけでなく,子宮内膜症などの内膜関連疾患の病態に起源細胞として関与する可能性がある.
