●子宮内膜症性卵巣囊胞に対する腹腔鏡下摘出術後において，高い再発率が報告されている．再発・再手術による妊孕性の低下が問題となるため，再発抑制治療が望まれている．

●子宮内膜症性卵巣囊胞摘出術後の患者に低用量エストロゲン・プロゲスチン（LEP）製剤を使用することで，囊胞の再発率が著明に減少することが明らかになり，子宮内膜症治療のガイドライン上においても，術後のLEP製剤服用が推奨されている．

●LEP製剤は忍容性が高く，長期服用に向くが，血栓症を引き起こすことが問題である．血栓症の危険性が少ないジエノゲストの再発抑制効果の報告も散見されており，今後LEP製剤との効果の比較が期待される．

●術後薬物療法の継続期間に関しては統一した見解がなく，今後，薬物治療中止後の再発状況の解析により検討する必要がある．
