3．子宮内膜症に非ホルモン性直接作用を有する食品添加物3-ethylpyridine（3EP）は理想的な治療薬になり得る

●子宮内膜症は全身性疾患でなく骨盤内疾患であり，治療は全身投与より局所投与のほうが有効で副作用が少ない．

●3-ethylpyridine（3EP）は子宮内膜症に直接作用を有する非ホルモン性の治療薬である．

●3EPは子宮内膜症でCD44とテネイシン発現を抑制して選択的に治療効果をもたらすと考えられる．
