未受精卵子凍結保存の現状

はじめに

　近年の凍結保存技術の向上により，未受精卵子の凍結保存が妊孕性温存のための方法として用いられるようになってきた．しかし，現状においても凍結未受精卵子を使用した体外受精胚移植の成績は，凍結胚を用いた融解胚移植の成績に劣る．しかし，女性の社会進出に伴う初婚年齢の上昇や未婚のがんサバイバーの増加から未受精卵子の凍結保存のニーズは増加している．

　2013年9月に日本生殖医学会は，社会適応ならびに医学適応による未受精卵凍結保存ガイドライン仮案を提言し，2014年5月に日本産科婦人科学会は，医学適応による未受精卵子および卵巣組織の採取，凍結，保存に関する見解を会告として発表した．本稿では，社会的にも注目が集まっている未受精卵子凍結保存の現状について概説する．
