●がん患者が不安を感じていることは一般的であるが，経時的に不安が下がらず，日常生活に支障が生じる場合には対処が必要である．

●がん患者における抑うつは見落とされがちであるが，頻度が高い．軽症例では支持的なかかわりのみで改善することも多い．

●せん妄は患者本人のみならず家族や医療者にも苦痛をもたらす．その治療は原因の同定とそれへの対処で，薬物療法の基本は抗精神病薬単剤での治療である．
