●早発閉経は早発卵巣不全とも呼ばれ，40歳以下の女性が続発性無月経を呈する疾患で，排卵に至る卵胞が喪失し，排卵障害による不妊を呈する．

●早発閉経の原因には，遺伝的要因，自己免疫異常，医原性などが知られている．

●早発閉経患者の卵胞発育誘導には，われわれの開発した卵胞活性化療法（IVA）が有用である．
