●絨毛性疾患のWHO分類が2014年に改訂された^1）．最大の改訂は腫瘍項目に類上皮性トロホブラスト腫瘍が追加されたことである．2011年の絨毛性疾患取扱い規約第3版^2）の分類，解説とほぼ同様の内容となっており，わが国での診断，治療に関して混乱はないものと思われる．

●全奇胎，特に早期の組織学的所見が詳細に記載され，p57 immunostaining, DNA genotypingについても解説されている．すでに絨毛性疾患取扱い規約第3版に記載され，実際上の変更はない．

●部分奇胎との鑑別が必要な異常（非奇胎性）絨毛病変が追記されたが，その解説や図は掲載されていない．その病変の多くは組織診断が容易ではなく，genotypingが必要となる．
