●産婦と家族の精神的苦痛に配慮し，悲嘆のプロセスを十分に理解して対応する．

●胎児異常を診断した場合，疾患の正確な診断，予後の明確な説明，選択可能な管理方法や治療方法の説明，両親が最良の選択をするための支援が重要である．

●こころのケアにあたる際には産科医，精神科医，助産師，看護師，カウンセラー，ソーシャルワーカーなどとともにチーム医療を行う．
