染色体転座による不育症と重篤度予測

●均衡型相互転座（転座）や逆位，挿入といった均衡型の染色体構造異常を親がもっていると，配偶子が形成される段階で不均衡になり，受精卵も不均衡型になる可能性がある．

●転座の切断点はさまざまであり，不均衡型転座となった場合，ほぼ出生が望めないものから，無症状のものまで差が大きい．

●切断点から，流産率や不均衡により何らかの症状をもって生まれてくる児の確率を求めようとする方法がいくつか考案されてきた．
