劇症1型糖尿病と妊娠との関連

●劇症1型糖尿病は，高血糖症状の出現から糖尿病の診断まで，数日単位というきわめて短期間に症状が進行するため，診断が遅れると命にかかわる糖尿病の最重症型である．

●ケトアシドーシスを伴って発症し，初診時の随時血糖値が高値であるのに比し，HbA1c値は比較的低値を示し，発症時にすでにインスリン分泌が枯渇しているのが特徴である．

●妊娠に伴って発症する劇症1型糖尿病の多くは妊娠後期に発症する．妊娠中に発症した症例では，子宮内胎児死亡例が多くきわめて予後不良である．
