文献概要

●生殖器，泌尿器の臓器や組織はエストロゲン受容体が豊富であり，老化は，閉経を機に低下・欠乏するエストロゲンの影響を大きく受ける．

●閉経後性器泌尿器症候群は，慢性的なエストロゲン欠乏で生じる生殖器，泌尿器の異常をまとめた概念である．

●エストロゲンの投与が老化の予防や治療に有効な場面が多いが，尿失禁については注意が必要である．
