Q. super twinにおける予防的子宮頸管縫縮術の有効性と適応は？

〈Answer〉

super twinにおける予防的子宮頸管縫縮術が周産期予後を改善したという報告はあるものの，明らかな効果は示されておりません．したがって現状では，super twinのみを適応とした予防的頸管縫縮は推奨されません．ただし，頸管無力症や後期流産・早産既往などの他のリスク因子がある場合は，個別の対応が望ましいと考えられます．
