Q. 早産予防における硫酸マグネシウムの長期投与に伴う母子への副作用は？

〈Answer〉

硫酸マグネシウムの長期投与は，胎児の骨密度を低下させ，早産児における死亡率を増加させる可能性が示唆されています．また，胎児・早産児に対しての脳保護作用があると報告されている一方で，否定的な意見もあります．Mg^2＋は，腎排泄に依存しているため，腎機能低下，妊娠高血圧症候群などによる乏尿を認める症例では，容易に高マグネシウム血症になるため注意が必要です．
