文献購入ページに移動●【母体血漿中cfDNA】母体の血漿中に存在する細胞外遊離DNA断片のことを指す．母体成分だけでなく胎盤由来成分が10％程度を占めるといわれている．胎児分画の断片サイズは比較的小さいことが知られている．
●【染色体異数性】特定染色体が配偶子形成期に正しく分配されずに生じる，染色体数的異常の1つである．代表的なものが21トリソミーで，21番染色体のDNA量は通常よりも過剰となり，その領域のSNP genotypesも変化する．
●【massively parallel sequencing（MPS）】次世代シークエンサーを用いてDNAテンプレートを同時並行に配列決定する方法である．NIPTでは，全染色体を網羅的にシーケンシングする方法と，当該染色体に関連する領域のみシーケンシングする方法がある．
