●糖尿病女性では母児合併症予防のため，妊娠前から準備し計画的に妊娠することが勧められる．

●妊娠前から食事療法の見直し，インスリン療法への変更などを検討し，血糖管理に必要な血糖自己測定（SMBG）や持続グルコースモニタリング（CGM）などが適切に行えるように指導する．

●妊娠前に糖尿病慢性合併症や併存疾患の状態を確認し，妊娠に向けて治療を行い，また治療薬の見直しをする．
