顕微授精で受精失敗を回避するために―人為的卵子活性化

▶ヒトを含む多くの哺乳動物種において，卵子活性化は受精およびその後の胚発生にきわめて重要である．卵子の活性化はカルシウムイオン（Ca^2＋）の上昇を伴うプロセスである．
▶顕微授精後の受精障害に対して，人為的卵子活性化は有効であることが多数報告されている．人為的卵子活性化法には，主に電気刺激，ストロンチウム，カルシウムイオノフォアがある．
▶人為的卵子活性化の効果と安全性についてはエビデンスが十分とはいえず，その適応については慎重に決定する必要がある．
